HUNNIC TRIBES, Kidarites. Kidara, circa 350-385. Dinar (Gold, 23 mm, 7.84 g, 12 h), Gandhara. King standing front, head to left, sacrificing with his right hand over altar and holding standard in his left; to upper left, filleted trident. Rev. Ardoxsho enthroned facing, holding cornucopiae in her right hand and filleted investiture garland in her left; to upper left, tamgha. Cribb, Kidarites, pl. 4, 39. A very attractive example. The reverse slightly double struck. Nearly extremely fine.
